REFUND POLICY | Premier Lift Equipment
Return, Refund & Equipment Condition Policy
1. Equipment Condition Standards
At Premier Lift Equipment, we categorize every asset to ensure operational alignment with CSA B335:25 and MLITSD safety requirements.
- New: Equipment in original manufacturer packaging, never used.
- Refurbished/Remanufactured: Units that have undergone our 25-Point Asset Integrity Audit. These are professionally restored to full working order and include all available technical data and battery health reports.
- Used: Second-hand equipment sold with full disclosure of maintenance history and hour-meter readings.
1.1 Manufacturer Designation & Asset Integrity For data transparency and compliance tracking, equipment may be listed under the "Premier" manufacturer field. This designation indicates that the asset has been structurally verified, load-tested, and safety-certified at our Brampton Technical Center. While the original chassis may be OEM-sourced (e.g., Toyota, Raymond, Crown), the Premier label signifies a fully audited configuration that meets or exceeds CSA B335:25 and MLITSD standards. This ensures that the technical documentation, battery health reports, and safety certifications provided are proprietary to our rigorous reconditioning workflow.
2. Shipping & Freight Protocol
We provide logistics support across Canada and the United States.
- Flat Rate & Freight: Due to the specialized nature of material handling units (forklifts, reach trucks), shipping costs are calculated based on weight, dimensions, and destination.
- Carrier Transparency: We utilize professional industrial carriers (e.g., UPS Freight, R+L Carriers) for all long-haul deliveries.
- FOB Brampton: Customers may also elect to arrange their own transport from our facility at 99 West Dr, Unit H, Brampton.
- Handling Time: Standard Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and shop servicing typically require 2–5 business days before equipment is released for transit.
3. Universal "As-Is" Final Sale Policy
To maintain our competitive wholesale pricing for Yale, Raymond, and Hyster units, the following strictly enforced policy applies:
- No Returns/Final Sale: All equipment is sold on an "As-Is, Final Sale" basis. Once equipment is picked up or delivered, it is not eligible for return, exchange, or refund.
- Non-Refundable Deposits: All deposits are strictly non-refundable as they initiate the removal of assets from active inventory and allocate shop labor for your PDI.
- Order Cancellations: We do not accept cancellations once a Sales Agreement is signed. At our sole discretion, deposits may be held as a 12-month Store Credit in cases of extreme hardship.
4. Verification & Mechanical Guarantee
We mitigate "Final Sale" risks through total transparency:
- On-Site Testing: We strongly encourage on-site inspections and test-drives at our Brampton yard.
- Virtual Inspections: For out-of-province buyers, we provide comprehensive video walkthroughs demonstrating all hydraulic, drive, and safety functions.
- Mechanical Discrepancy: If a unit arrives with a major, undisclosed mechanical failure, you must notify our service department at 905-452-8361 within 48 hours of receipt. Verified claims will be addressed via repair credits or replacement parts.
5. Security, Fraud Prevention & Asset Verification
To ensure the integrity of high-value industrial transactions and protect our clients from unauthorized brokerage, Premier Lift Equipment enforces the following security measures:
- Identity Verification: For all remote or out-of-province acquisitions, we require a verified Business GST/HST number or official corporate credentials prior to executing a Sales Agreement.
- Fund Verification Period: To mitigate fraudulent wire transfers or "overpayment" schemes, equipment will only be released for shipping or pickup once funds have been fully cleared and verified by our financial institution (typically 3–5 business days post-receipt).
- Mandatory Live Verification: To ensure total transparency, a High-Definition Live Video Walkthrough (via WhatsApp or FaceTime) will be provided for every unit.
- Full Payment Orders: Verification is provided as a final quality check prior to the asset being released for shipment.
- Terms-Based Orders: If financing or net terms are provided, verification is provided prior to the release of the final remaining balance to ensure the unit meets all agreed-upon specifications.
- Official Communication: All official transaction documents, PDI reports, and banking instructions will originate only from an authorized @premierliftequipment.com email address.
6. Inventory Volatility & "Prior Sale" Notice
To maintain the integrity of our Brampton Technical Center inventory, all clients must acknowledge the following:
- Unique Asset Status: Unlike standard retail goods, each industrial unit (Forklift, Reach Truck, VNA) is a unique, single-inventory asset.
- Prior Sale: All listings are subject to "Prior Sale." A unit is only considered removed from the market once a Non-Refundable Deposit is received and a Sales Agreement is executed.
- Sync Lag Disclosure: While our digital catalog syncs daily, a unit may occasionally show as "Available" online for up to 24 hours after a physical sale in our yard.
- Substitution Protocol: If a unit is sold prior to your inquiry, Premier Lift Equipment reserves the right to offer a "Closest Match" alternative from our current refurbishing pipeline with similar capacity and age specifications.
Equipment Compliance & Quality
At Premier Lift Equipment, every forklift and reach truck undergoes a rigorous multi-point technical inspection focused on structural integrity, hydraulic performance, and drivetrain reliability. Our inventory is prepared to meet or exceed CSA B335-15 safety standards and Ministry of Labour (MOL) compliance expectations for industrial workplaces.
Our Inspection & Reconditioning Workflow includes:
Structural & Safety Audit: Verification of mast integrity, carriage alignment, and load-bearing components.
Operational Load Testing: Performance validation under simulated working conditions to ensure hydraulic and braking system reliability.
Power System Diagnostics: Comprehensive battery health reports and charger compatibility checks for Electric, Lead-Acid, and Lithium-Ion units.
Application-Specific Prep: Equipment is vetted for specialized environments, including 3PL, high-density warehousing, manufacturing, and Cold Storage (sub-zero) configurations.
Documentation & Audit Readiness:
We provide supporting documentation—including service history, certification records, and OEM-recommended inspection logs—available upon request to assist with your facility’s safety audits and operational planning.
Note: While specifications are believed to be accurate at the time of listing, buyers are responsible for verifying critical details prior to purchase. Custom compliance packages and delivered freight quotes are available for fast turnaround across Canada.
